BEAUTIFUL

Each one of us has certain measurements to beauty. Each one of perceives beauty in a different way according to your values and according to your beliefs. Some people value looks and think it is what gives beauty to a person. Others think its morals which makes a person beautiful. Others will argue that beauty is in wisdom and they might be right too. Yet real beauty is inner beauty. It is your inside that counts not your outside. Have u ever met someone who you thought was super hot or very attractive but after a couple of times where you had to communicate with that person you no longer found them attractive or they lost the charisma they had in the beginning? It is because you got to know a bit of the real person in front of you. Their inner self that is not as attractive as how they look. On the other hand have you ever met someone who you thought was ugly when you saw them but after getting to know them you found they were truly attractive and beautiful? This is because the inner beauty of this person is shining out covering their flaws that might have made you think they were ugly earlier. When judging beauty look inside. Not everyone can see inner beauty and that is why you should always wait and make the right judgment. Most beautiful things in the world are unseen. This is why we always have our eyes closed when we dream when we cry when we kiss and when we imagine! All these beautiful things come from WITHIN...Inner beauty is the only beauty that exists and outer beauty is just something that helps and sometimes misleads. So look within and you'll discover beauty you never knew before...

Monday's Mantra

My friend Camargue on MySpace sent me a wish for a wonderful week. As I was listening to my children's laughter around me, the above response jumped from my fingertips.

"Ah, it WILL be a marvelous week,

We all should have...well, I'm sure we all do have a Monday Mantra, but probably not a very empowering one. I used to get stomach pains on Sundays, knowing I had to go back to my sales job on Monday.

We all should have a mantra that makes us feel unstoppable, and allows us to live life to the fullest; to fight the good fight, to stand with arms open wide, and create incredible experiences this week. It will never come again.

This is referred to as segment intending in the Law of Attraction. I've found it to be very helpful in keeping me focused on what I WANT to happen, and more often than not, it DOES happen!

My daughter Cristina spent the weekend with us, and showed me her MySpace page. I quickly put her at the very top of my friends list, letting her know how important she is to me :-)

She was important to me when I married her mother, and I loved her as if she was my own. I still do, and always will. I'm here whenever you need me hon.

I may not agree with you being able to date yet, so all I ask is that I get to meet any new boyfriend. I want him to know there's a man to answer to if he doesn't behave as a gentleman with you.

Harry Connick Jr - WOW!

Last night I went to my first Harry Connick Jr concert at the Bob Carr.
He brought his New Orleans World Tour here to Orlando. All I have to say is WOW! It was a sold out, standing encore night that will affect the rest of my life.


I've seen many different artists, amazing singers like Andrea Boccelli,
Yanni,
Luis Miguel, and others who gave incredible performances here or in Miami that have left me inspired and affected. But this guy, this guy is so unique; so talented, so romantic, fun,
and playful. I'm actually upset with myself that I've lived 1/3 rd of my life without having seen him (I plan on living till I'm 120 - too much living to do :-)

I was planning on taking my 12 year old daughter, Cristina, until I realized it would keep her out too late during state-testing week. I told her we'd go see him when he was in Italy (a country she wants to see), and I can tell I will give her this experience. So my date and I had an incredible time tapping our fingers and moving our feet and laughing along with this Harry guy from New Orleans.

I was able to contact all the actors from Will & Grace and get them to send a signed picture to my students to inspire them to Dream Big. Harry Connick Jr. was on their show for awhile so I'm excited to get him to do the same, powerfully empowering my students and children in the possibilities of what they can become by surrounding them with people that have become their biggest selves..
