I woke up Sofia this morning, kneeling by the side of the bed, one hand gently under her chin, the other stroking her hair. She started smiling even before opening her eyes and said, "Hi Daddy".I smiled back and said, "Hello my perfect, wonderful you".
As I looked at her I thought what a great book that would be for parents to read to children, children read to parents, spouses to each other, teachers to students, etc......

The years really do fly too quickly as the relationship btwn father & daughter continues to change ~ it's just never the same from one season to the next. She'll grow from little girl, to teenager, to young woman and at each new stage you can NEVER get the previous one back. SO MAKE IT COUNT NOW! EVOLVE TOGETHER!
