a boy sat quietly in nature
watching nature watch him
the more he watched
the more he was watched
a boy looking into nature
nature looking into a boy
an unspoken understanding
coming between the two
no one knows what was said
no one knows for sure what was heard
just that on one summer day
a boy and nature became one
I am proud to say that
this boy is my son
I love you Brosden
